Stay alert because if you are off track just one degree, you have ventured off course
Even if you know God, you will still drift away and He will no longer be your source
Many of God’s people have strayed away because they have turned aside one degree
Not realizing by turning away from God’s standards they are now held in captivity
We are to press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ
In order for us to stay on course, we will have to make a heart searching sacrifice
If you continue to follow a path knowing fully well that you have turned aside
It will draw you further away from God and you will no longer have His peace inside
Things may look good to you right now as you continue to venture further off track
But, on the inside there is a void and that void is God wanting you to come back
What you feed will grow and what you starve will surely die within
You need to return back to God in your heart and give Him your life again
Many have become backslidden thinking that they can do anything they desire
But they have been deceived by the enemy for they have lost their zeal and their fire
By obeying their flesh they have made the decision to go their own way
It was just one degree off they had taken which caused them to go astray
God is calling His people to come back into the fold where they belong
So He can continue to be their God and be their supply when they return home
God knew you before you were born; when you were conceived in your mother’s womb
And in His presence you have been called to be with Him for fellowship in His throne room
He knows the things that you have been through and He wants you to know
That He loves you very much; for He sent a letter to you in John’s Gospel, and told you so
There are great days ahead of you and God wants to show you His way
Because your best is yet to come and He is working things out this very day
God will continue to tug at your heart because of the love that He has for you
Just don't lose sight of His will because there are things that He wants you to do
So, get back on course and let God be a part of your life once again
And He will bring changes into your life that can only be done by His hand
