SEARCH YOUR HEART

Search out your own heart and see what you can find

Are there any offences there that are hidden and left behind?

Many have unforgiveness in their heart and that is the way they live

Much time has come and gone, and they still refuse to forgive

Many testing and trials they have faced and didn’t make it through

Because of the offences they were living in; they didn’t connect the two

Love will forgive, leave it, let it drop, and will let it go

But they refuse to do either of these and have grown spiritually cold

Blessing will not manifest when unforgiveness is settled in their heart

There can be no true fellowship with God when God’s Love is not a part

Many will never confess that they are offended and will never admit any wrong

And when they don’t forgive, love is absent and faith is all alone

Many of God’s people will fall prey and listen to what others will say

But don’t you take their offence for it doesn’t have to be that way

The devil will spread lies and people will believe that they are true

But, if you take the bait and spread those lies, then you are held captive, too

So, search out your heart and make sure that it is clear

Then when you do face testing and trials you will not have any fear

Come out from the sin of offence and touch not the unclean

Because you are a child of God and you have been redeemed

If someone offends you, then go to them and make it right

Then you will be walking in the God’s love as you walk in the light
