I WILL NOT BE FILLED WITH DOOM AND GLOOM

I Will Not Be Filled with Doom and Gloom

I will not be filled with doom and gloom because of what I know

For I am highly favored of the Lord and my blessings will continue to flow

I will say of the Lord that He is my refuge in the midst of misery and dread

I am going to be at peace at all times for I will be Spirit Led

When darkness is all around and it seems as though there is no view in sight

Even in the midst of the darkness I will continue to walk in the light

I will speak psalms and sing hymns for I will rejoice in the God of my salvation

I know it’s going to be alright now, because I have inside information

He brought me out of bondage when I was young for I had no knowledge within

But, now I have been changed by His Word, and am truly blessed, again and again

When the wind and waves are raging by the fierceness of the storm

I will not be afraid of the evil reports for I will not be alarmed

When the enemies speak of doom and gloom, and tries to turn my faith aside

I will boldly declare that my liberty is in Christ; I will not run and hide

I will say no matter what comes my way, this is one thing I know

That no weapon formed against me will prosper, so devil you will have to go

I believe in the Word that was given unto me, that I win every time

Because it is written, “The battle is not yours, saith the Lord, for it is mine” 

So, this is the day that the Lord hath made, and I will rejoice and be glad

I will lift my voice to the heavens which cometh my help, and not be filled with doom and gloom or be sad
