The Story of Creation
The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep
There was no life of any kind for everything was hopeless and bleak
The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters for no land was in sight
God spoke the words, “Let there be light,” then the Spirit of God created the light
God continued to speak words to restore the earth back to beauty and splendor
Everything that heard His voice had no choice but to obey, submit, and surrender
All was completed and God rested on the seventh day and reflected
For He was pleased with everything He created, and nothing was neglected
God said, Let us make man in our image and let’s give them authority
Over every creature in the air, the land and the water; so shall it be
But God wanted someone to fellowship with, so He made man
So, they could fellowship together walking in the cool of the day, hand and hand
Since man was alone; God made him a woman to be by his side
They were so happy until the commandment that God gave them was denied
Sin came and communing with God was now broken never to fellowship again
They became spiritually dead and separated from God’s presence because of sin
God had a plan to bring man back unto Himself; to become a joint heir
He needed a spotless lamb to take man’s place and Jesus was already prepared
An Angel of the Lord told Mary that she shall conceive in her womb a child
His name shall be called Jesus, and He will be the Savior, perfect and undefiled
Jesus grew and waxed strong in the Spirit, and went about fulfilling God’s will
God’s love was on display and all the goodness of God was revealed
The time came and Jesus had to suffer and go to the cross to take man’s place
Jesus, the Son of God was the demonstration of God’s love and grace
He was tortured and crucified, then bowed His head and gave up the ghost
His Spirit left His body, and all the demons began to shout and to boast
But on the third day Jesus was raised from the dead with the authority that the devil took from man
And said, Behold all power has been delivered back to me, so go forth with authority, and take command
If your life seems to be without form and void, remember that Jesus is called
the Word
Speak His word and the same Spirit of God will work on your behalf from the words which are heard
