STAY IN GOD'S WILL
This is not a word of inspiration or a word of prophecy. It is a combination of thoughts that came from my heart. I did not write this because I am a pastor, but that I am also a Christian; so here it is.
Those who are walking in the light will be walking in God's divine protection. Be sure to follow God's Word and don't be led by prophecies, visions and dreams. Learn to be led by the Spirit of God and you will always stay on course. There are many voices in the world so be aware and don't be entangled with wrong voices. Do not believe everyone who says that they have heard from God, unless it bears witness with your spirit and lines up with the Word of God. I do believe in prophets, apostles, and other ministry gifts that God has given to the church, but I put my total confidence in the Word of God. Man can miss it. The Apostle Paul did. So did Noah, Peter, Matthew, Jonah, Abraham and many others. I had a lady come up to me after a service several years ago and said that she and her husband were leaving the church because they wanted to hear what the Apostles and Prophets were saying. If you are chasing Prophets and Apostles because you are impressed on how many times they have been to heaven or the experiences that they had, you could be following an individual. The most important thing is what the Word of God is saying. It is not how long someone prays and has great experiences in God's presence, or how God uses them. That is great, but are they a preacher of the Word of God? Man shall not live by experiences alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. If you are in a local church and are being fed the Word of God by your Pastor, then stay where you have been planted and grow up spiritually and you will be greatly blessed. Yes! I believe in Prophets, I believe in Apostles and all the other ministry gifts in the Body of Christ, but I also believe that the most important gift in your life should be your Pastor. God has anointed and equipped him to oversee and to feed you the Word of God. He has given you a Shepherd after His own heart, so take heed and be faithful to where you are and let him teach you how to grow up spiritually. The safest place to be is in the will of God, so stay where you are and be content, and you will walk in God's divine protection.
